MDA receives follow-on contract for land information
RICHMOND, BC, Oct. 2, 2012 /CNW/ - MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (TSX: MDA), a provider of essential information solutions, announced today that it has received a follow-on contract for US$9.8 million to map soil characterization and terrain globally. The information produced will be used for planning and analysis in conjunction with data previously delivered by MDA under this contract. MDA leveraged its sophisticated software that identifies changes in land-cover to provide a rapid and cost effective solution to meet customer needs.
