MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. Report on Voting Results from the 2013 Annual Meeting of Shareholders

RICHMOND, BC, May 8, 2013 /CNW/ - The following matters were voted upon at the Annual General Meeting of the Shareholders of MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (TSX: MDA) ("MDA" or the "Corporation") held on May 6, 2013 in Richmond, British Columbia.  A total of approximately 30,740,928 common shares (85.36% of the outstanding common shares) were represented in person or by proxy at the meeting.  Each of the matters is described in greater detail in the 2013 Notice of Annual Meeting of Shareholders and Management Proxy Circular dated March 28, 2013 (the "Circular").

1. Election of Directors

The following seven nominees were elected as Directors of the Corporation to serve until the next annual meeting of shareholders of the Corporation, or until their successors are elected or appointed, by the following votes:

KPMG LLP, Chartered Accountants, were appointed as auditors of the Corporation, and the directors were authorized to fix their remuneration.
