GEORGETOWN, ON, Sept. 13, 2012 /CNW/ - Long time Georgetown residents
Jason Toone and Crystal Rosa helped Starkey Hearing Foundation give the
gift of hearing on its first-ever China mission. This was history in
the making as this was the first government sanctioned charity event
that has ever been allowed into China. More than 12,000 hearing aids
were distributed to hearing impaired children and adults as part of
this history-making hearing mission.
During the 10-day hearing mission, Jason Toone and Crystal Rosa
travelled to Xi'an and Chengdu, China, where they were joined by
eight-time NBA All-Star and former Houston Rockets center Yao Ming,
two-time NBA All-Star and Los Angeles Clippers forward Caron Butler,

producer Dallas Austin.
"What an honored to have joined Starkey Hearing Foundation on this

Starkey Hearing Foundation is bringing understanding among individuals
and communities through hearing care by focusing on awareness,
education, protection and treatment, so the world may hear. Hearing
loss affects one in 10 Americans, and 63 million children worldwide,
