SUDBURY, ON, Jan. 17, 2012 /CNW/ - The following drill holes are located in a gold-copper bearing zone in claim 472926 and 472927, mining lease 105420, Mackelcan Township, Sudbury, Ontario. The gold-copper zone is open as to size extent and depth.
Flag Resources is preparing to deepen drill holes 83-28 and 90-3, to explore the gold-copper zone at depth, and to complete a down hole survey to ascertain the direction in which the sulfides are proceeding.

In the eastern sector of claim 472927, in Wolf Lake, an isolated 1.5 foot section, from 721.5 feet to 723 feet in vertical drill hole WL 86-1 intersected 22.10 oz gold (logged by Frank P Tagliamonte). WL 86-1 was drilled by Hecla Mining under joint venture with Flag Resources.
The gold/copper zone of all these diamond drill holes occur between the shallow depth of 100 and 200 feet.
