OTTAWA, May 20, 2015 /CNW/ - The first of its kind, the Energy Smart Show, taking place May 14-15, 2016 at the International Centre in Mississauga, is purely an energy efficiency-focused consumer event featuring exhibits by leading industry product and service providers, topical workshops and speakers, thought leaders and field experts, and government incentive program representatives.
The Energy Smart Show is pleased to announce its business-to-consumer show has the endorsement of the Canadian Energy Efficiency Alliance.
This one-stop shop will offer consumers a chance to learn how to reduce their energy usage and save money – at home, in the car, at the office, at the cottage, in their small business and more.
"We saw a need for a show that focused purely on energy efficiency for consumers," said Energy Smart Show President David Dunlop. "There are excellent shows for green living, healthy lifestyles, renovations, cottages but nothing that zeroes in on the consumer interest to conserve. The Energy Smart Show will fill that void and help consumers find the answers they need."
"Given the Energy Smart Show's mandate, we think this is a natural fit for the Alliance," said CEEA President and CEO Elizabeth McDonald. "Our consumer research shows people are searching for information and bringing the answers all to one place just makes sense."
The Energy Smart Show will be Canada's pre-eminent energy efficiency event for energy conscious consumers and an influential platform for energy efficiency product developers, researchers, educators, manufacturers, government programs and services and more.
