Sponsorship deal with Milk 2 Go Sport to help trio reach new heights
MONTREAL, Sept. 22, 2014 /CNW/ - Having reached the pinnacle in their sport with their performance on the World Cup circuit and at the Sochi Games last winter, the Dufour-Lapointe sisters are gearing up for the challenge of solidifying their status among the world's elite with a boost from Milk 2 Go Sport.
This sponsorship deal marks a new chapter in the existing partnership between the brand and the freestyle-skiing trio, which began in July 2013 when the sisters were entering the final preparation phase for the 2014 Olympics where they captured the hearts of an entire nation and captivated audiences worldwide with their unique blend of athleticism, style and easy-going attitude.
"We're proud to have Chloé, Justine and Maxime as part of the Milk 2 Go Sport family and thrilled to take our partnership to another level," said Philippe Duhamel, Director of Marketing at Saputo Dairy Products G.P. "Their passion for fitness, boundless energy and engaging personalities make them the perfect fit for our brand."
The Dufour-Lapointe sisters dominated the moguls scene during the 2013-14 season. They ranked second, third and fourth in the overall World Cup standings, and made history when Justine and Chloé won Olympic gold and silver, in what was one of the lasting images of the Sochi Games.
"We are really happy to be part of the Milk 2 Go Sport team. It's important for us to represent brands we believe in and use regularly" said Justine Dufour-Lapointe. "Having the support from Milk 2 Go Sport will help us concentrate on our training in preparation for the upcoming season and the Freestyle Skiing World Championships this coming January."
