Disclosure Canada calls for Minister of Defence to Participate in Event Series Regarding National Security Matters
ATI Documents prove NORAD CF-18's made contact with 'UNKNOWNS'
TORONTO, March 26, 2015 /CNW/ - Along with 9,500 UFO files at the Department of National Defence and RCMP archives, the NORAD Commander has verified to a Disclosure Canada representative, that there exists a five-year average of 1800 reports and 75 intercepts of what they refer to as 'UNKNOWN TRACKS' or 'Tracks of Interest'. Officials have never before admitted this.
To address this matter and others, a letter was sent to the Honourable Jason Kenney requesting the Minister to attend or send a representative to the upcoming Disclosure Canada event series this April. The purpose of this request is to create dialogue between Canadians and the government on matters sensitive to national security.
"Based on numerous documents obtained under the Access to Information Act and from Library and Archives Canada, we now know there is irrefutable evidence that Canadian jets have been scrambled to intercept these unknown craft and that our government has been involved in a joint cover-up with the U.S. to hide the truth from its population," said Christopher Russak, Co-Director of Disclosure Canada. "Yet, there has never been a public statement from the Defence Department concerning these intercepts or sightings."
Disclosure Canada, as a public advocacy group focusing on the urgency of this national security issue is therefore conducting a series of nationwide events with expert researchers to explain to Canadians issues related to the classified and declassified documentation concerning 'craft of unknown origin'.
Events will be held in Montreal April 4, Toronto April 11, Calgary April 18, and Vancouver April 19. Press conferences at each event.
