OTTAWA, July 3, 2012 /CNW/ - Clearford Industries Inc. ("Clearford" or
the "Company") (TSXV: CLI) today announced that it has agreed with SC
Stormont Inc. ("Stormont") to amend the Strategic Leadership Agreement
("the Agreement"), which has been in effect since January 18, 2005.
The Agreement is amended to provide that a fee at the rate of 2.5% may
be paid to Stormont on the net proceeds of debt financing
transactions. Payment of this fee will be determined in the discretion
of the Board of Directors of the Company on a case by case basis, and
if approved by the Board would be paid on the net amount of funds
available to Clearford after deducting closing costs payable to or at
the direction of the lender.
