MONTREAL, May 22, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - We are delighted to announce the Canadian Evaluation Society's 36th annual conference hosted by the SQEP-Société québécoise d'évaluation de programme. The conference will be from May 24 to 27 at the Montreal Centre Sheraton.
Several hundred program evaluators from a wide variety of backgrounds will meet this year under the overarching theme "Evaluation for the World We Want." Among the highly anticipated sessions will be the opening speech given by Laure Waridel, founder of Équiterre, and a plenary session will be devoted to the Québec government's « Commission de révision permanente des programmes ». Among the questions addressed will be: what are the effects of evaluation on the performance of public programs?
