TORONTO, Dec. 10, 2013 /CNW/ - While children dream of sugar plum
fairies, parents are having a nightmare figuring out what gifts to get
their children for the holidays.
Fortunately, parents no longer have to guess what their kids want from
Santa. According to a new survey by Reviewed By Teenagers.com, a
website created by teens for teens, 62% of teens surveyed (aged 12-17)
listed an iPhone 5s smartphone as their #1 "most wanted" gift.
Approximately 26% of teens named a PS4 gaming system as their top
choice, while 8% of respondents ranked a Microsoft Surface tablet as
their most desired gift. The remaining 4% of gifts ranked number one
consisted of a variety of other brands.
"The Reviewed By Teenagers.com Holiday Wish List survey gives parents
unbiased insight into what teens are wishing for this Christmas.
Perhaps only Santa has a more comprehensive wish list," says David
Chau, co-founder of Reviewed By Teenagers.com. The website features
product and entertainment reviews by aspiring teen journalists.
"Some firms have been interested in investing in us and a toy
manufacturer talked about putting the Reviewed By Teenagers.com 4-star
rating seal on their products, but the site remains 100% based on
unfiltered teen opinions."
The online survey of over 1,200 teenagers from around the world also
revealed what gifts parents might expect to receive from their teens
Headphones (BOSE was the top headphone brand listed)
