$100 Million in LOTTO MAX Jackpot Prizes up for Grabs This Friday!

OLG Still Seeking Owners of 2 Tickets Splitting LOTTO 6/49 $32 Million Jackpot

TORONTO, July 4, 2012 /CNW/ - LOTTO MAX is making history!  This Friday, July 6th, the main Jackpot of $50 Million will be accompanied by 50 MAXMILLIONS draws for $1 Million each.  That's a top prize pool of $100 million - the LARGEST EVER IN LOTTO MAX HISTORY!

$32 MILLION LOTTO 6/49 UPDATE: OLG is also reminding customers to check their LOTTO 6/49 tickets from the June 30, 2012 draw. The $32 Million jackpot is split between two winning tickets - each worth approximately $16 Million, with one ticket purchased in Brantford and the other in Woodbridge.

"LOTTO MAX's top prize pool of $100 million is truly an historic event," said Greg McKenzie, Senior Vice, President, Lottery.  "We have estimated big jackpots before, but we have never had both a $50 million jackpot and 50 draws for $1 million each in one evening.  It will surely make for an exciting and memorable day.  Any adult could be Canada's newest millionaire, if they have a ticket."

Each ticket sold for Friday night's draw is eligible for the $50 Million Jackpot and for each of the 50 MAXMILLIONS draws.  LOTTO MAX's main Jackpot has subsidiary prizes available for matching as few as three numbers.  All seven numbers must be matched to win or share in MAXMILLIONS prizes - there are no subsidiary prizes.  Tickets cost $5 and can be purchased at your local lottery retailer.

LOTTO MAX has been very popular in Ontario—and for good reason—since the game's launch in September 2009, 22 LOTTO MAX jackpots have been won or shared by 126 Ontarians, and 69 MAXMILLIONS prizes have been won or shared by 291 Ontarians.

This Friday night…$100 Million available to be won.   Take it to the MAX!

Players can purchase tickets at authorized OLG retailers until 9 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2012, for the draw that evening.

OLG is a provincial agency responsible for province-wide lottery games and gaming facilities. Since 1975, OLG lotteries, casinos, slots, and resort casinos have generated more than $34 billion for the benefit of the Province of Ontario.
