Invitation to media representatives - Announcement of a unique youth education program on organ donation

MONTREAL, Oct. 16, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - The CHAÎNE DE VIE (Chain of life) project will be officially launched in conjunction with the World Day for Organ Donation and Transplantation. A full seven years of creative development and collaboration went into this project aimed at educating secondary students about organ donation.

Initiated by a student from the École secondaire de Rivière-du-Loup following a remarkable encounter with a young person waiting for a liver transplant, this educational project received support from Transplant Québec, the Government of Québec whose representative will be Agnès Maltais, Member for Taschereau, Minister of Employment and Social Solidarity, Minister of Labour, Minister responsible for the Status of Women, also Minister responsible for the Chaudière-Appalaches region and for the Capitale-Nationale region, the Fédération des commissions scolaires du Québec and The Kidney Foundation of Canada.

You are cordially invited to the official launch of the program, as well as the announcement of Chaîne de vie's principal partner. The event will feature moving testimonials from young people, teachers and parents, for whom every gesture counts...

Please join us for a chance to be part of the chain of life!
