"Beneva is proud to join forces, as title sponsor, with the Calgary Marathon, a landmark event that inspires thousands of Canadians to embrace an active lifestyle. It is meaningful for us to extend our positive impact across Canada. As a mutualist company, we believe in the power of collective action to strengthen the health and well-being of our communities," said Jean‑François Chalifoux, President and CEO of Beneva.

"From the beginning, it was clear that Beneva and the Calgary Marathon share a very similar view of what a running event can do for a community," said Paul Chiswell, President of the Board of Directors for Run Calgary. "Yes, it is about running, but it is also about wellness, volunteering, bringing people together and creating a sense of pride in the city. We believe this partnership gives us an opportunity to build on what the Calgary Marathon means to this community and take it somewhere new. Having a partner that shares our values, understands the importance of wellness and community, and is committed to being here for the long term allows us to think differently about what is possible."
