WW has partnered with Swiss Chalet® to feature a new "Healthy Selections" menu, showcasing the restaurant's healthiest choices, complete with WW SmartPoints® values, making it easier than ever for those focused on wellness and weight loss to make dining-out choices that work for their lifestyle.
OAKVILLE, ON, Nov. 15, 2018 /CNW/ - WW is pleased to announce a partnership with Swiss Chalet that will highlight the range of healthy eating options offered by the restaurant.

Assigning SmartPoints to Beloved Swiss Chalet Menu Items
Swiss Chalet's new menu will have a WW branded page, showcasing the key menu items recommended for those focused on healthy living and weight maintenance. Each item will include the WW SmartPoints value – the WW system that uses nutritional science to assign one easy-to-use number to foods based on calories, saturated fat, sugar, and protein.
"We recognize that determining the healthiest choices requires more than simply counting calories," says Executive Corporate Chef Swiss Chalet Tallis Voakes. "The WW SmartPoints system eliminates the guesswork for customers by assigning a value that looks at food holistically."
Calories establish the baseline of how many WW SmartPoints the food is worth; saturated fat and sugar increase the SmartPoints value, and protein lowers the value. In December 2017, WW launched WW FreestyleTM, its most livable program yet with members seeing more success than ever before. With WW Freestyle, members have lost 10% more weight than on the previous program. * WW Freestyle designated more than 200 foods with a SmartPoints value of 0, including skinless chicken breast. This is great news for people who love Swiss Chalet's Classic Quarter Chicken Dinner. Depending on your choice of side, this can be a 0 points meal.
