upgrades are part of a broader energy management program lead by
Western's Energy Management Team that will save the university almost
$1 million this year.
Jackie Caille, Union Gas' director of residential and commercial sales,
presented the cheque to Mary Quintana-Lopez, compliance coordinator,
energy and water projects for Western University, at a Union Gas
customer meeting held in London today.
"Natural gas is affordable and clean, and our goal is to help our
customers use this reliable resource in an efficient way," said Caille.
"These investments will not only help Western reduce its energy use and

"Western continues to emerge as a leader in sustainability and our
energy-saving projects are a key component of our success," says Gitta
