Toronto's Entertainment District Strikes A Pose With Fashionable Promotions During World MasterCard® Fashion Week

TORONTO, March 18, 2013 /CNW/ - Catwalks and runways intersect with the streets of Toronto's Entertainment District during Toronto's World MasterCard Fashion Week.  The week long preview of the Fall 2013 Collections will have its public showing in the heart of the Toronto Entertainment District, at David Pecaut Square on March 18 through to March 22, 2013. The District's supporting dining and spa promotions are also in fashion by way of the MasterCard Stylicity program.

Sharing the fashion spotlight with World MasterCard Fashion Week are over fifteen members of the Toronto Entertainment District Business Improvement Area. They will participate in Stylicity with a series of exclusive offers and experiences benefitting MasterCard cardholders from March 15 to March 31. Stylicity has over 150 exclusive offers from restaurants, bars, shops and spas in Toronto's most fashionable neighbourhoods as well as online from some of the most stylish e-tailers.

Among the Entertainment District's "most fashionable pairings" during World MasterCard Fashion Week are a collection of Prix Fixe dinners, value added appetizers, and spa treatments to be offered at member establishments. The featured Stylicity participants include: 309 Dhaba Indian Excellence; Azure Restaurant & Bar; Bloke & 4th; Canyon Creek; Fred's Not Here; Hey Lucy; HUSH Restaurant Bar & Patio; Joe Mamas; Milagro Cantina; Mix Bistro Bar; N'awlins Jazz bar; PLAY Lounge; The Red Tomato; TOCA at The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto; DEQ Lounge at The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto; Spa My Blend at The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto and The Spa InterContinental Toronto.

After the shows, stop by the official World MasterCard Fashion Week Official Lounge at DEQ.   Conveniently located across the street at The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto, relax fireside with a fashion-inspired cocktail, refuel with a selection of the city's most stylish snacks or dance the night away with DEQ's in-house DJ until 1am.

Janice Solomon, Executive Director of Toronto Entertainment District's BIA, confirms, "The semi-annual World MasterCard Fashion Week is always a much anticipated event for our businesses.  The MasterCard Stylicity program drives interest and brings an exciting concentration of visitors to one of the most visited and vibrant city centre neighbourhoods in Canada.''
