SE Health and Gotcare Partner to Advance Home and Community Care Across Canada
Canadian health organizations combine clinical expertise, technology and care delivery capabilities to develop new models of home and community care
TORONTO, Oct. 27, 2026 /CNW/ -- SE Health and Gotcare have formalized a strategic partnership to collaborate on new models of home and community care across Canada.
The partnership comes at a time when health systems across Canada are looking for new ways to expand capacity outside of hospitals, respond to workforce pressures and support more people to receive care at home and in their communities. Together, SE Health and Gotcare will explore new approaches that bring clinical expertise, technology and care delivery capabilities together to support more responsive and accessible care.
SE Health brings clinical expertise, health system experience and a national care workforce. Gotcare brings technology, care orchestration infrastructure and a distributed network of care providers. Together, the organizations will explore how these capabilities can be combined to support more responsive and accessible care.
A central focus will be improving access to care while making services more adaptable to the needs of individuals, families and communities. The partnership will explore opportunities in areas such as care navigation, transitions from hospital to home, workforce capacity and technology-enabled care programs that need to operate across large or geographically dispersed populations.
"People want care that is accessible, connected and responsive to their lives. By bringing together SE Health's clinical expertise and experience delivering care in communities with Gotcare's technology and care orchestration capabilities, we can explore new ways to deliver care at home and in the community. Together, we have an opportunity to make care more responsive to the needs of individuals, families and the health systems that support them." - John Yip, President & CEO, SE Health
The partnership also reflects a shared focus on integrating technology, clinical services and workforce capacity in ways that can strengthen care delivery and support people in their homes and communities.
Both organizations also share a belief that technology should strengthen rather than replace the human relationships at the centre of health care.
"Health innovation often gets separated into technology on one side and service delivery on the other. The real opportunity is to connect with them. Technology should make it easier to mobilize people, personalize care and respond when someone's needs change. SE Health gives us the clinical expertise to pair with that infrastructure and bring those models to scale." - Chenny Xia, CEO, Gotcare
The partnership will provide a foundation for SE Health and Gotcare to identify opportunities where their combined capabilities can improve access, extend workforce capacity and create a more seamless experience for individuals, caregivers and health system partners.
