Montreal's 375^th anniversary celebrations

SUMMER IN THE CITY: ACTION AND FESTIVITIES ALL OVER TOWN!

MONTREAL, June 29, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - Montreal's summertime reputation is firmly established, and this summer's celebrations will not disappoint, with their offering of cultural, theatrical and musical delights! In July, À nous la rue is presenting some 50 of the world's best street theatre troupes in more than 800 free outdoor performances. Meanwhile, on indoor stages, À nous la scène will present 11 shows that run the gamut from classical, touching and lyrical to hilarious, over-the-top and interactive, including two original works created especially for the 375th. On July 22, Osheaga will present its own version of a multidisciplinary experience created for this milestone year, with Sessions 375 X, the Osheaga Block Party. This unprecedented event is inspired by the hip-hop block parties that were all the rage in New York neighbourhoods in the 1970s and 1980s
