Nurses' association issues Open Letter to PM Stephen Harper and Premier Wynne urging both to act on poverty

TORONTO, Oct. 15, 2013 /CNW/ - The organization that speaks out for nursing and health policy today issued an Open Letter to Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Premier Kathleen Wynne.

The letter requests that both governments consider the upcoming International Day for the Eradication of Poverty (marked on Thursday, October 17) and immediately address the health effects that result from living in poverty.
