MONTREAL, July 8 /CNW/ - The Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants (CSIC) today shined its member spotlight on Selin Deravedisyan-Adam in recognition of her hard work to help Canadian businesses fill critical staffing requirements while enriching Quebec's cultural fabric.

"Providing businesses and people with valuable guidance takes a lot of stress and uncertainty out of the immigration process," said CSIC Chair Nigel Thomson. "Selin plays a key role in ensuring businesses can hire the staff they need, despite borders. As a result these business are able to improve their productivity and keep the Canadian and Quebec economies moving."

Selin first began offering immigration services in France, where her family had built a tradition of helping immigrants. As a result, Selin admired Canada for making immigration a celebrated part of its culture and soon chose to immigrate herself.

Today Selin's immigration consulting practice in Westmount, Quebec offers a wide variety of services, carrying forward her family tradition. Selin also contributes to the immigration consulting community by serving as Quebec's Chapter Chair for the immigration consulting professional advocacy body, the Canadian Migration Institute.

"Selin is an inspiration to others in the immigration consulting profession because she cares so deeply about her work," said Thomson. "She brings people to Canada who make a very positive contribution to the Quebec economy, and we all benefit."

CSIC's member spotlight was created to highlight prominent members of the immigration consulting community, focusing on their achievement and contributions to the immigration consulting profession. The recipient of the member spotlight is nominated by CSIC members.
