WINNIPEG, MB, Oct. 27, 2026 /CNW/ -- More than 2,200 participants from across Canada will gather in Winnipeg for the 13th National Conference on Ending Homelessness, presented by the Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness (CAEH) with local co-host End Homelessness Winnipeg.
Recent polling found that more than one-third of Canadians know someone impacted by homelessness, and people overwhelmingly want to see action that will end the crisis. This conference moves us closer, uniting leaders, advocates and experts around best and promising practices, and proven solutions.
The conference will open with a Grand Entry that will ground the gathering in connection to the land, community and one another. The three days will be filled with more than 100 sessions covering lessons from communities that have successfully reduced homelessness, Housing First best practices, cutting edge homelessness research, prevention efforts, and more.
The first National Homelessness Reduction Awards will recognize people, communities and organizations who are leading efforts to end homelessness across Canada. (November 4 from 12 p.m. to 1:30 CT)
