MONTREAL, Jan. 31, 2019 /CNW Telbec/ - LANDRY and associates is pleased to share that it has been named, by the editors of Canada's Top 100 Employers, as a top employer in Greater Montreal. This year's winners were announced today, during the awards ceremony held at the Ritz-Carlton, in Montreal.
With its headquarters located in the heart of the city, LANDRY and associates employees take pride in their work environment the most—one that fosters diversity, creativity, transparency and opportunity for growth. One may recall how, in 2015, when the company had outgrown its office space due to a significant increase in employment, all team members were solicited for their opinion in the selection of what would soon become their new work environment. Once settled in, some felt there was a need for a multipurpose creative space for activities such as brainstorming sessions, yoga and meditation, and the occasional team potluck lunch. Their request was met without hesitation. An empty room was converted into a colourful collaborative area, complete with floor to ceiling dry erase walls, an air hockey table, palm tree decals (to get through the cold winter months), as well as several personal touches from everyone who wanted to contribute to the project. To further inspire the team, artwork from across the world and various plants grace every corner of the office.
From social gatherings to occasional getaways, team activities that focus on giving back to the local community, flexible work hours, and an extensive set of employee perks and benefits, it's no surprise the company receives over 500 job applications annually. LANDRY and associates also has various environmental and social management programs in place, making sustainability one of its core business values.
"I am delighted that we have been chosen amongst Montreal's top employers," said Claude M. Landry, the company's president and founder. "Although we are a relatively young company, much has happened since our beginning and I am very proud of the team for its numerous achievements", he continued. "Nothing makes me happier than seeing everyone working together, not only to provide the best service to our many loyal clients, but also by caring for other team members. We work hard and spend a lot of time together, which is why it is essential that we create and maintain an enjoyable environment. Needless to say that I am humbled to receive such a prestigious recognition, especially as we conclude the celebrations of our tenth year anniversary, and I will do my best to make sure we maintain this level of excellence for years ahead."

Employers are compared to other organizations in their field to determine which offer the most progressive and forward-thinking programs.
