VANCOUVER, Sept. 25, 2012 /CNW/ - Last night, Harry Rosen and Ermenegildo Zegna jointly held a cocktail party featuring the Best of Italy to celebrate the Ermenegildo Zegna boutique's recent renovation and re-opening at Pacific Centre.
Featuring a performance by Vancouver Opera Soprano Rachel Fenlon, the event drew over 200 top clients, media and special guests to the store to view the Fall collection and sample fine Italian food and wine. Some of the notable guests in attendance included Marty Grundy, Managing Director of Ermenegildo Zegna Canada; former BC Lion Sean Millington and BT Vancouver host Riaz Meghji.
"We are thrilled to offer our Vancouver clients one of the newest and finest Zegna shopping environments in the world," stated Larry Rosen, CEO and Chairman of Harry Rosen Inc., at the event last night. "We've had a long-standing relationship with the Zegna family for over 40 years and are proud to continue that tradition of partnership with this luxurious new shop."
The renovated space - in a premium, high traffic location across the hall from Harry Rosen's main store in Pacific Centre - features 4,500 square feet of state-of-the-art menswear retail space. The Vancouver Zegna location originally opened in 1997, and is one of the most successful Ermenegildo Zegna shops internationally. It was completely reinvented in brand new décor to reflect Zegna's latest design thinking, featuring plush burgundy and tan broadloom, completed by elegant rosewood walls and fixtures. The new boutique will feature complete collections from Ermenegildo Zegna including Ermenegildo Zegna Collection, Z-Zegna Collection, Zegna Sport and the Couture Zegna Collection.
In addition to the Ermenegildo Zegna shop, Harry Rosen's Pacific Centre location includes Vancouver's only Brunello Cucinelli boutique, as well as a brand new Armani Collezioni shop-in-shop and Canali and Hugo Boss shop-in-shops. A comprehensive jeanswear shop with a wide assortment of top denim brands, a large shoe department and a fashion forward enclave featuring brands such as Versace, Etro and Dolce & Gabbana complete the store.
