DDI competencies and leadership development content to integrate
into Halogen TalentSpace™ suite
WASHINGTON, D.C., Sept. 11, 2014 /CNW/ - Halogen Customer Conference - Halogen Software (TSX: HGN) and Development Dimensions International (DDI) announced a partnership to integrate and resell DDI's comprehensive, newly-updated behavior-based competency library and proven leadership development content into the Halogen TalentSpace™ suite.
Through this partnership, customers can choose from a variety of content bundles and use DDI competencies and learning modules pre-configured within Halogen TalentSpace, to establish a company-wide language and framework for attracting, assessing, retaining and developing talent at all levels, business-wide. The content will be licensed through Halogen on a subscription basis and implemented via Halogen professional services.
Two pieces of research released this year demonstrate the importance of improving manager effectiveness. In the report "Frontline Managers: Are they Given the Tools to Succeed?", Halogen Software and Harvard Business Review found that despite the importance of these leaders to organizational success, executives worldwide give them low marks on key leadership competencies.1 Further, DDI and The Conference Board's Global Leadership Forecast 2014|2015 research states that CEOs are focused on improving leadership to address their number one challenge: human capital.2
