Elexicon Has Raised $1.5 Million for Its Communities

AJAX, ON, Oct. 30, 2026 /CNW/ -- Elexicon Energy (Elexicon), the electricity distribution company serving Durham Region and beyond, has raised $1.5 million through its charity golf tournament to support vital community agencies, including a record-breaking $435,000 in 2026.

This year's tournament shone a spotlight on healthcare, recognizing the essential role local health organizations play in building strong, thriving communities. Tournament proceeds will benefit the Belleville General Hospital Foundation, Bowmanville Hospital Foundation, Gravenhurst Health Hub, Lakeridge Health Foundation, Port Perry Hospital Foundation, and The Charles H. Best Diabetes Centre.
