Canadian faucetry expert unveils new product line during revelry at St. James Cathedral in Toronto
TORONTO, Feb. 12, 2015 /CNW/ - Plumbing retailer experts and design-industry experts tapped good times Wednesday celebrating the 20th anniversary of Riobel, a Canadian leader in faucetry design and assembly. The night overflowed with surprises as the group unveiled its new Venty collection as guests were treated to performances by steamy Brazilian dancers and a cozy ice bar in an outside tent during a 'hot & cold' themed party in Toronto's iconic St. James Cathedral. The Venty collection, part of the Riobel prestige collections, includes a series of upscale faucets, shower systems, and bathroom accessories designed to offer the most elegant experience in the industry.
"We've received incredible support from the Canadian plumbing retailers, designers, plumbers and contractors community over the past 20 years," said company founder and President Mario Bélisle. "We wanted to treat our distributors and supporters to a warm party on a chilly February night to honour all of those that have made Riobel the success it is today."
"Riobel knows how to shower you with a good time," said Alan Bloch, General Manager, Taps Bath. "The whole night was elegant and cool, but very warm and welcoming; all qualities that Riobel has demonstrated over the past 20 years."
Riobel Inc., a Canadian company known for its excellent selection of faucets, shower systems, and accessories on the market, was founded in 1995. Created in the Montréal suburb of Saint-Jérôme, Riobel products are distributed across Canada as well as in a number of U.S. states by a vast network. A dedicated team of more than 120 employees work hand-in-hand to maintain the reputation for excellence Riobel has been nurturing for their 20 year history.
In 2014 Riobel opened the first Canadian faucetry academy, the Riobel Academy. The Riobel Academy is a laboratory environment where Riobel products are tested for effectiveness and performance in realistic conditions. Its mission is to keep professionals informed, and to teach them all about the mechanics and operation of faucets and other plumbing fixtures. Training is adapted to its audience: plumbers, designers, sales professionals, plumbing students, etc. As Canada's first academy institution for faucet-related knowledge, the Riobel Academy is the ultimate reference in faucetry.
