Cadillac Fairview Unveils New High-Tech LED Trees, Augmented Reality, and Festive Traditions in Quebec

From 40-foot LED light shows and AR Garden activations to visits with Santa, CF shopping centres invite guests to celebrate the season.

MONTRÉAL, Nov. 2, 2026 /CNW/ -- Today, Cadillac Fairview (CF) unveiled its 2026 holiday programming in Quebec. Beginning this month, CF Carrefour Laval and CF Fairview Pointe Claire will come alive with all-new 40-foot-tall LED tree light shows, interactive augmented reality (AR) garden experiences, and charitable visits with Santa, offering memorable festive experiences and gift inspiration for the whole family.

Festive Highlights Across Quebec

Santa Visits: A Cherished Tradition (Beginning November 13)

Santa returns to select CF shopping centres from Friday, November 13 to Wednesday, December 23. CF Insiders receive early ticket access starting Monday, November 2, with general public online booking opening Tuesday, November 3. This year, guests will step inside Santa's Mailroom, a brand-new North Pole set for their visit and photo with Santa and it also features an exterior holiday themed photo opp area where visitors can take their own photo and kids can write and leave their letters to Santa. Pre-booked five-minute sessions cost $17.50 and include five digital photos.

In partnership with the Autism Alliance of Canada, Sensitive Santa sessions will offer a quieter, lower-sensory environment for children with sensory needs. Walk-up visits will be available on-site as schedules permit. Reservations can be made at shops.cadillacfairview.com.

All-New 40-Foot Programmable LED Trees in Greater Montréal (Beginning November 13)

On Friday, November 13 at 7:00 p.m., both CF Carrefour Laval and CF Fairview Pointe Claire will debut brand-new, 40-foot tall programmable LED Christmas trees with official tree lighting ceremonies featuring festive music and guest appearances. Following opening night, daily dynamic light and music shows will run at the top of every hour during centre hours through Sunday, January 3.

Weekend Strolls with Mrs. Claus at CF Carrefour Laval (Beginning November 14)

Mrs. Claus will be taking festive strolls around CF Carrefour Laval on weekends from Saturday, November 14 to Sunday, December 20, between 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Accompanied by CF Brand Ambassadors, she will greet families, hand out candy canes, and share special retailer perks.

New & Interactive Holiday Experiences

Garden AR Experience at CF Carrefour Laval (Beginning November 13)

From Friday, November 13 to Sunday, January 3, CF Carrefour Laval will feature a new interactive Augmented Reality (AR) experience in the Garden atrium alongside its new programmable tree. Guests can scan QR codes and use their smartphones to transform the space with swirling snowfall and northern lights, and uncover hidden digital surprises.
