AMI celebrates the season with extensive holiday programming and riveting series marathons

TORONTO, Dec. 17, 2013 /CNW/ - Accessible Media Inc. (AMI) celebrates the season with holiday programming for the entire family. Christmas Magic starring Canadian actor, Lindy Booth, premieres December 21st on AMI-tv while former Lois and Clark star, Dean Cain, defends none other than Santa Claus himself in The Case for Christmas which airs Sunday, December 22nd.

On December 24th and 25th, AMI-audio boasts a vast selection of special holiday readings that are guaranteed to get everyone into the spirit of the season including 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, Gift of the Magi and other classic family favourites. As well, don't miss an old time radio version of It's a Wonderful Life featuring Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed.

Tune in to AMI-audio December 26th through 29th and again on January 1st for the Best of 2013 including a collection of its most memorable interviews, specials and feature articles. Among the highlights: interviews with ET Canada's Rick Campanelli, skaters Brian Orser and Tracy Wilson and soprano Laurie Rubin; Contact specials taped in New Orleans, Minneapolis and Ghana, as well as historical specials on the JFK assassination, and the March on Washington.

Fans of Murdoch Mysteries will want to tune in on Monday, December 30th for a 6-hour extravaganza of back-to-back episodes beginning at 12pm on AMI-tv. Then, ring in the New Year with a not-to-be-missed CSI special. In this three-hour, cross-over episode, the CSI franchise teams up detectives from CSI: New York, CSI: Miami and CSI: Las Vegas to try and catch a killer preying on young women. Catch this CSI marathon December 31st at 1pm and 7pm. AMI-tv may be accessed on Bell (channel 48), Rogers (channel 888) and Shaw (channel 888).
