Amaya's virtual horse racing system to be launched in Quebec casinos

MONTREAL, Dec. 13, 2012 /CNW/ - Amaya Gaming Group Inc. ("Amaya" or the "Corporation") (TSXV: AYA), an entertainment solutions provider for the regulated gaming industry, has announced that the Société des Casinos du Québec (the "SCQ") will launch Amaya's virtual horse racing system at its Casino de Montréal and Casino du Lac-Leamy in Gatineau tonight at 8 p.m. (ET).

"We're very excited about providing non-stop electronic racing action on the world's best tracks 24 hours a day to patrons of Québec's casinos, including the flagship gaming destination in Montréal," said Mr. Darcy Krogh, Amaya's VP of Business Development. "The SCQ is recognized as an innovative casino operator and we're pleased to help them create even more exciting gaming destinations."

Under the terms of the agreement, which was announced April 27, 2011, Amaya is providing its virtual horse racing system "Royal Grand Prix Derby" to the SCQ for placement in its various properties. The SCQ, a subsidiary of the Province of Quebec's corporation Loto-Québec, is responsible for operating and developing Québec's casinos, including casinos in Montréal, Charlevoix, Gatineau and Mont-Tremblant.

Opened in October 1993, the Casino de Montréal is a world-class establishment and a masterpiece of Montréal architecture. With 6 million visitors each year, it is a hub of entertainment that sets itself apart through creativity and innovation.

The Casino du Lac-Leamy, officially opened in March 1996, welcomes three millions visitors annually and is noted for its high quality hotel and restaurants.
