Saint-Augustin River Ferry - End of the passenger transportation service

QUÉBEC CITY, Dec. 20, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - The Société des traversiers du Québec (STQ) wishes to inform its clients that, due to the ministère des Transports du Québec announcement of today's opening of the Route blanche between Saint-Augustin and Pakuashipi, the crossings offered by the hovercraft VCA l'Esprit-de-Pakuashipi ended yesterday Monday, December 19, 2016.

The STQ will continue to offer ground transportation service between the airport and the Trout-Point wharf for passengers of the maritime service to Anticosti Island and the Lower North Shore. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 418 947-2027. Clients are asked to leave a message if there is no answer.
