Media Advisory/ Photo Opportunity - Canadian Athletes Show Support for the TORONTO 2015 Parapan Am Games

TORONTO, July 27, 2015 /CNW/ - The TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games Organizing Committee (TO2015) will join Pan Am Games medallists and a Parapan Am Games medallist on Tuesday, July 28, to celebrate the largest ever Parapan Am Games, which will take place in Toronto and the Greater Golden Horseshoe region from August 7 to 15.

To show their support for the Parapan Am Games, several Canadian athletes will be at Nathan Phillips Square to buy tickets to their favourite Parapan Am competitions.

Who:    

Zack Chetrat, Pan Am bronze medallist, 200-metre butterfly, co-captain of the Canadian swim team at the 2015 Pan Am Games
Brittany MacLean, Pan Am bronze medallist, 800-metre freestyle relay, 2012 Olympic finalist and Canadian record holder
Sarah Wells, Pan Am silver medallist, 400-metre hurdles, 2012 Olympian
Chelsey Gotell, three-time Paralympian and five-time Paralympic gold medallist, swimming
Saäd Rafi, chief executive officer, TO2015
