OTTAWA, Dec. 2, 2015 /CNW/ - His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, will open the first session of the 42nd Parliament of Canada with the Speech from the Throne. The event will take place on Friday, December 4, 2015, at 2:30 p.m. in the Senate Chamber, on Parliament Hill.
