IKEA Canada Encourages Canadians to Make #EverySecond Count

A new campaign inspires Canadians to share their own special at-home video moment for a chance to be a part of a national campaign

BURLINGTON, ON, Jan. 11, 2016 /CNW/ - Today it seems as if we are busier than ever before. Our time at home is shorter and more hurried, but that doesn't mean people aren't spending quality time together. It just means that our time is more precious than ever before and it should be appreciated. These brief but powerful moments are the inspiration behind IKEA Canada's most recent ad campaign #EverySecond. To help celebrate this, we're encouraging Canadians to join the conversation and share their own special at home video moment. For the first time ever, a selection of the submissions will be featured in an original #EverySecond commercial, featuring Canadians celebrating their own special moments at home which will air nationally this winter.

"At IKEA Canada, we know that home is the most important place in the world and we want to encourage Canadians to share those wonderful moments and make every single second count," said Stefan Sjöstrand, President, IKEA Canada.

Canadians can submit their moment online at IKEA.ca/everysecond or through Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram using the hashtag #EverySecond. If selected they will be contacted throughout the campaign to confirm the participation of their moment in our commercial.
