"Our Government is pleased to support Tennis Canada in the hosting of this exciting event," said Minister Gosal. "The Davis Cup by BNP Paribas World Group Play-Offs 2012 will provide an opportunity for all Canadians to show their support for our male tennis stars following their performances at the London 2012 Games."

"Hosting international events such as the Davis Cup not only provides a forum for our athletes to compete against the world's best, but also brings a welcome boost to the local economy," said Minister Paradis. "I congratulate the organizers and volunteers for once again showcasing the City of Montréal to a world audience."
