CMQ experiences a minor derailment in Quebec

HERMON, ME, Aug. 11, 2015 /CNW/ - Central Maine & Quebec Railway (CMQ) experienced a minor derailment in the Farnham rail yard in Quebec late Monday evening.  Fifteen empty boxcars derailed on a siding in the yard.  No hazardous materials were involved in the derailment and there were no injuries to CMQ employees or the public.  Two public crossing were blocked for a short period of time but were quickly cleared.  CMQ officials are still determining the cause of the derailment and the process of resuming operations is already underway.
