Canada's chemistry industry supports a balanced approach to climate change

OTTAWA, Nov. 20, 2015 /CNW/ - The Chemistry Industry Association of Canada (CIAC) has sent a letter to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and provincial and territorial Premiers expressing our support for the goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and the efforts being made to achieve a global agreement in Paris. 

The Chemistry Industry Association of Canada (CIAC) is the voice of Canada's chemistry industry, representing members and partners across the country. Canada's chemistry industry is a $53 billion industry which directly employs 81,000 Canadians. Members of CIAC are signatories to Responsible Care® – the Association's U.N.-recognized sustainability initiative.
