MONTREAL, March 29, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Vichy Normaderm, a drugstore exclusive brand targeting women 18-34 suffering from adult imperfections, is the first brand in Canada to launch a custom channel in the new YouTube "One channel" format with a web a series of consumer-inspired videos about acne-prone skin.

'As an innovative brand, we always strive to explore new ways to connect with our consumers. Knowing that our target consumes a lot of video content and spends more time on YouTube than conventional media, we quickly jumped on the opportunity to be the first to leverage the new YouTube channel experience' says Amélie Fortier-Cyr, Vichy Canada Brand Director.

The new Vichy Normaderm YouTube channel provides a seamless brand experience and focuses on engaging with consumers.  "It allows them to discover the Normaderm range and products, watch all Normaderm videos, read our Facebook posts, become a fan and share the videos they like with their friends. Consumers can then continue their experience on other platforms such as Vichy's website or Facebook page", Fortier-Cyr continued.

Going beyond conventional advertising, Vichy Normaderm creates with this new medium a distinctive and relevant content in the form of real-life episodes, where consumers can follow the story of "Emily", a consumer experiencing acne-prone skin who sought for solutions with Normaderm.  To engage consumers on a long-term basis, new videos will be released throughout the year 2013.
