II is a mutual fund corporation created to hold a portfolio of publicly listed common shares of selected Canadian chartered banks in order to generate dividend income for the holders of its Preferred Shares and to enable the holders of its Capital Shares to participate in any capital appreciation in the portfolio shares and to benefit from any increase in the dividends payable on the portfolio shares. Capital Shares, Preferred Shares and Warrants of Allbanc Split Corp. II are listed for trading on the TSX under the symbols ALB, ALB.PR.B and ALB.WT, respectively.
