COM DEV and Day4 Energy Join Growing List of Customers Choosing DisclosureNet for Disclosure Research and Preparation

TORONTO, Dec. 9 /CNW/ - XPI, a leading provider of online solutions for corporate disclosure information, today announced that it secured 20 new customers last month. More than half of these new customers were comprised of publicly traded companies, including:

    - COM DEV International Ltd., (TSX:CDV), a leading manufacturer of space
       hardware subsystems
    - Day4 Energy Inc. (TSX:DFE), a leading technology developer and
manufacturer of high performance solar electric modules

These companies will use DisclosureNet to reduce the amount of time required to research and prepare disclosure filings, and to find relevant examples of reporting and disclosure practices. Over 15,000 users experience enhanced productivity, reduced costs, improved quality of disclosure, and risk reduction when using DisclosureNet for security filings research and financial reporting.

"DisclosureNet's ability to quickly and easily locate targeted disclosure information has significantly reduced our research time," said John Stonier, vice president of strategic planning and treasurer for Day4 Energy. "With one project we have already recouped our annual cost by leveraging DisclosureNet for our research needs, and we look forward to the ease of putting together our financial reporting disclosures in the next quarter."

DisclosureNet is a research tool that enables users to perform targeted searches on specific corporate disclosure documents filed in Canada via SEDAR and SEDI, or EDGAR in the United States. With widespread adoption in the accounting, corporate, investor, legal, and regulatory markets, DisclosureNet assists professionals in these areas with the research and preparation of disclosure documents filed by publicly traded companies.

"Hundreds of publicly traded companies are realizing the tremendous value of DisclosureNet for the research and preparation of their disclosure documents," said Todd Peterson, vice president of client services for XPI. "Not only does DisclosureNet expedite the research process, but it also provides up-to-the-minute alerts on new filings. With ever-changing regulatory requirements, the shift to IFRS and the increased pressure to improve disclosure and remain compliant, DisclosureNet helps our clients directly in meeting those challenges."

Over 160 customers have signed on to use DisclosureNet since January, representing record growth in a single year since the company's inception in 2002.
