Wood Composite Technologies Inc. announces new strategic arrangements with
Westech Building Products

NISKU, AB, Oct. 2 /CNW/ - Wood Composite Technologies Inc. (TSX-V: WCT) (the "Company") is pleased to announce it has entered into a term sheet describing a new strategic arrangement with Westech Building Products Limited ("Westech").

The term sheet with Westech addresses custom extrusion of the Company's Millennium Decking product by Westech.

It is anticipated that the custom extrusion of Millennium Decking will occur at Westech's facilities in Calgary, Alberta and will involve the licensed and/or leased use of extruders owned by the Company and the patented material and pellets produced at the Company's Nisku, Alberta facility.

John Greenwood advised, "we are very excited about the opportunity to work with the Westech team; we believe the arrangement will provide for certain immediate efficiencies for our operation and additional future potential for both companies."

Additional details of the arrangement will be released once a definitive agreement has been entered into between the parties.
