PETERBOROUGH, ON, Sept. 21 /CNW/ - WIND Mobile announced today that it will be creating up to 200 jobs over the next year in the City of Peterborough to staff its call centre.
The facility, located at 364 Water Street, and managed by Teleperformance, a leading call centre management company, will employ 40 Canadians initially but will grow as WIND Mobile expands its service offering across the country.

WIND Mobile is Canada's newest wireless company with a staff of over 250 people in Canada and growing fast. Over the next 12 months, WIND Mobile is planning to create over 2,000 full-time jobs and will be investing over $1 billion in Canada - a significant amount given the current economy.

WIND Mobile is committed to creating an exceptional customer service experience for Canadians which includes making a significant investment in its call centre staff through rigorous training. Training will be led by Graham Kingma, WIND Mobile's Head of Call Centre Operations, who will be working closely with Teleperformance to oversee operations and ensure that staff are prepared to represent the WIND Mobile brand when service launches later this year.
