TORONTO, April 22 /CNW/ - What would you do with $41 million? The Canadian that wins this Friday's estimated $41 million LOTTO MAX jackpot will have the chance to answer that question and live their dreams to the max.
The top prize in this week's draw is enough money to:
- travel around the entire world - buy out an entire stadium to watch your favourite pro-sports team - open your own private golf course
"With LOTTO MAX, you can dream big and dream to the max. A jackpot of $41 million will allow someone to live beyond their wildest dreams," said Wendy Montgomery, Vice-President of Lottery Marketing at Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG).
LOTTO MAX was created in September 2009, to bring Canadians bigger jackpot prizes.
"Canadians were asking for larger jackpots and more million-dollar prizes, and so LOTTO MAX was created in response to that," said Montgomery.
Since its launch, Ontario's LOTTO MAX players have won almost $100 Million in prizes, including 3 big jackpot wins.
For each $5 play, LOTTO MAX players receive three sets of seven numbers ranging from one to forty-nine. ENCORE is also available on LOTTO MAX for $1.
Players can purchase tickets at authorized OLG retailers until 9 p.m. Friday, April 23 for the draw that evening.
OLG is a provincial agency responsible for province-wide lottery games and gaming facilities. Since 1975, OLG lotteries, casinos, slots, and resort casinos have generated more than $28 billion for the benefit of the Province of Ontario. Gaming proceeds support Ontario's hospitals, amateur sport, recreational and cultural activities, communities, provincial priority programs such as health care and education, and local and provincial charities and non-profit organizations through the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
