about themselves, in the buff and all dressed up
TORONTO, Dec. 4 /CNW/ - This January, Corus Entertainment's W Network presents the premiere of How to Look Good Naked Canada, a new series that aims to help women restore their body confidence - no surgery required. Based on the highly successful British series starring Gok Wan, the Canadian version features host Zain Meghji and launches during a night of special programming on Tuesday, January 5 at 10 p.m.

Each week, Zain works with a different woman who can't face herself in the mirror without seeing her flaws and tries to turn her from her own worst critic into her biggest fan. Zain then uses the woman's new found confidence to help her muster the courage to walk a runway in nothing but lingerie with hundreds watching. Combining his strong sense of style, love of fashion and compassion for others, Zain helps self-conscious women find their true beauty using styling, beauty tips and surprising stunts.
How to Look Good Naked Canada launches during Naked Night, a special programming event dedicated to the series. The evening begins at 8:30 p.m. with two back-to-back U.K. episodes of How to Look Good Naked hosted by Gok Wan, starting with a 30-minute version, followed by a one-hour episode. Then at 10 p.m. viewers can tune into episode 1 and episode 2 of How to Look Good Naked Canada.
Episode 1, premiering at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Tuesday, January 5, follows Jillian Bathgate, a 5'3" British expatriate and sassy single mom who wants to nix that nagging negative voice in her head so she can love and embrace herself as she is.
Episode 2, premiering at 11 p.m. ET/PT on Tuesday, January 5 introduces viewers to soulful songstress Jennifer Harvey, who is singing the blues about her belly and pretty much everything else in between her shoulders and her calves. Host Zain shows her how to ditch her men's jeans and start dressing like the foxy lady.
