MONTREAL, Nov. 5, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Strategy magazine's Agency of the Year Awards took place last night in Toronto. Each year, the popular communications and marketing magazine selects the country's best agencies in different categories. Citizen Relations, Jungle Media and Vision7 Media, all members of Vision7 International, really distinguished themselves this year.
"The accolades bestowed on Vision7 agencies confirm our dominance on the national stage, in every aspect of communications and marketing. It's an enormous advantage to know that we can count on high-level expertise in media and public relations, not to mention our digital and marketing communications agencies," noted Mélanie Dunn, President of Vision7 in Quebec.
Citizen Relations took home silver in the PR Agency of the Year category. It was the only winning PR agency with operations in Quebec.
"I'm delighted that Citizen Relations was honoured at strategy's Agency of the Year Awards—it's quite an achievement, given the sheer number of PR agencies that were in the running," said Anik Trudel, Senior Vice-President and General Manager at Citizen Relations. "Receiving national acclaim from the industry speaks to our market leadership and the tremendous efforts we make in developing highly strategic campaigns for our clients. Congratulations to the talented people in our offices across Canada who made it possible," she added.
For its part, Jungle Media came in third for Media Agency of the Year.
"We just celebrated our fifth anniversary in Canada and 18 months in Quebec. I'm thrilled with how Jungle has emerged as a leader in its field in such a short time. Its model for success is based on a new, more flexible approach and digital prowess. "The Jungle" is alive and well right now because it's meeting a need in the industry as proven by the recognition we received last night," stated Danick Archambault, Vice-President, Media Director at Jungle Media in Quebec.
To cap it all off, Joseph Leon, President of Vision7 Media, was named Media Director of the Year.
