Video B-roll available via CNW - Caitlin Sarubbi, US adaptive alpine skier
with ties to 9-11 events, carries the flame in Vancouver

VANCOUVER, March 12 /CNW/ - Before going for gold in the 2010 Paralympic Winter Games, Caitlin Sarubbi, a visually-impaired adaptive alpine skier from the United States, carried the flame in Vancouver as part of the 2010 Paralympic Torch Relay. It was Caitlin's firefighter father's rescue efforts during the events of 9-11 that led to Caitlin's ski career after disabled children of firefighters were invited to sample the sport of adaptive skiing.

Video and photo package includes current footage of Caitlin's run as well as her shopping in downtown Vancouver. Summer footage includes Caitlin and her family (father, mother and siblings) enjoying a trip to St. John's, Newfoundland in July, including a visit to a local firehall, an Irish Step dancing class, and a whale watching trip with sightings of finback whales.
