VANCOUVER, Feb. 22 /CNW/ - VersaPay Corporation (TSX: VPY.V) ("VersaPay" or the "Company"), a provider of merchant credit, debit, gift and loyalty card transaction processing solutions, today announced that it has signed a three-year, exclusive agreement (the "Agreement") with the Canadian division of Globus, an international provider of touring travel and vacation packages.
"This Agreement demonstrates VersaPay's ability to competitively price and service merchants of significant size and credit card transaction volume, as well as the flexibility of our solutions to meet their needs," said Michael Gokturk, CEO VersaPay. As such, this contract represents significant revenue growth for VersaPay and substantial savings for Globus."
Under the terms of the Agreement, VersaPay will provide Globus with a credit and debit card payment processing solution, taking advantage of VersaPay's PCI compliant (meets all Payment Card Industry data security requirements) e-commerce gateway. VersaPay will generate revenue based on a percentage value of each transaction that Globus processes through its payment system.
