"Research shows the incredible value that nurses bring to the health
care system," notes ONA President Linda Haslam-Stroud, RN. "Our new ad

the quality patient care that Ontarians deserve," says Haslam-Stroud.
"Our health care system desperately needs the invaluable skills and

dollar for dollar, nurses are the best value in health care. The new
ads also urge listeners to express their support for nurses via ONA's

The radio ad will be followed by transit shelter ads in a few weeks. An
MP3 copy of the radio spot is attached and can also be heard beginning
tomorrow at noon by visiting www.ona.org/value.
ONA is the union representing 59,000 registered nurses and allied health
