MONTREAL, Jan. 6 /CNW Telbec/ - The Concordia Student Union is enthusiastic to announce that the leader of Canada's official opposition, Michael Ignatieff, will be at Concordia university on Tuesday, January 12, 2010, in the 7th Floor Lounge of the Hall Building, at 3:30PM to meet and speak to Concordia students about Canada's future, the environment and what lies ahead for our generation.
Concordia University is one of Mr. Ignatieff's nation-wide campus visits in the overture of Canada's 150th anniversary. The CSU President Amine Dabchy has this to say about Mr. Ignatieff's trip, "it is not only important but crucial that our national leaders engage the youth who will obviously be taking the mantle of leadership in the near future". Alongside, questions from students will be answered to better comprehend what kind of Canada Concordia students are expecting as they embark upon their professional paths.
The CSU is inviting all members of the community to this Town Hall meeting which is being organised as part of our annual Speaker series.
