TORONTO, Jan. 19, 2016 /CNW/ - Question…Is the Toronto Transit Commission taking safety seriously outside the subway system?
Mike Smith, age 68 is planning to protest at the "MAIN Street" Subway Stations in Toronto. The TTC has not improved sidewalk lighting. "Frustrated, angry, I consider the poorly lit sidewalk to be a potential death or serious injury pedestrian sidewalk." Mr. Smith states, "Over eight years ago I was almost killed when a transit bus crossing from the road over the sidewalk to enter the subway station, struck me."
In Mike's opinion, "Every day the visibility changes depending on the weather. There are additional stations I consider dangerous."
Mr. Smith is an unpaid, independent consumer advocate who has been helping many Canadians since the early 1970s, contacting companies with complaints about their business practices.

"THE GOVERNMENT IS IN BED WITH THE INSURANCE COMPANIES!" Mike believes. "There are no million dollar lawsuits in Canada for Pain and Suffering."
