Toronto Hydro's 'Brighter Nights' program kicks off on a sunny afternoon

TORONTO, May 30, 2013 /CNW/ - At the first *Brighter Nights* event for 2013, volunteers spread out through the Grace Hartman and Wilcox Creek Co-op.  The Brighter Nights program responds to safety concerns in vulnerable neighbourhoods and helps make them brighter and safer, by installing compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs) and encouraging residents to leave them on overnight.
